TV Folha was one of the most innovative video departments in the Brazilian press, known for applying documentary aesthetics and storytelling to the fast-paced demands of daily journalism.
As a cinematographer and film editor there, I covered the events that shaped Brazil’s recent history: the 2014 World Cup, Brazil's general elections, the Rio 2016 Olympics, the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff, the politically contested conviction of Lula.
Alongside the political coverage, I reported on environmental stories with international reach: the Transamazônica Highway, illegal mining in the Amazon, Brazil's scientific research facilities in Antarctica, and more.
